The Challenge

Think of this less as a job application and more as a puzzle. We've found that the most interesting people are the ones who love a good challenge. If that's you, we've got two to choose from. Show us how you play the game.

Challenge #1: The Tool-Builder

Tell us a story of creation and failure.

Describe a simple tool or system (physical or digital) you personally built to solve a recurring problem. A simple spreadsheet, a physical jig, or a personal process are all perfect examples.

  • The "Failure Log": Tell us about the first version that didn't work and what you learned.
  • The Final Version: Describe the specific changes you made that fixed the flaws.
  • The Measurable Outcome: Provide a rough estimate of the impact (e.g., "saved 20 minutes/week").
  • The Proof of Work: Include a simple photo or screenshot of your tool.

Challenge #2: The Zero-Budget Marketer

Build trust and generate leads with no money.

You need to build trust for a new, highly technical product in a skeptical market. Your marketing budget is zero. You have only your expertise and the internet.

  • Your 3-Month Plan: Outline a creative, month-by-month plan. What is the theme for each month?
  • The Most Important Metric: What is the single most important number you would track to know if your plan is working?
  • The First Action: What is the very first, specific action you would take to get started?

Submit Your Approach

Choose the format that best communicates your idea (Google Doc, PDF, video, etc.).

What is the single biggest weakness or flaw in your own proposed solution?

We value process over polish. If you're willing, share a photo of your messy first draft or brainstorming notes.
